Maggie's Sick...

Just asking for prayer for my sweet Maggie. Long story short and for now I will just give you the quick update. We went out to eat last night for my brother-in-laws birthday and Maggie went into a febrile seizure and was transported via ambulance to Hendersonville Hospital around 7:30 last night. When we arrived at the hospital her temperature was 104.6. We were given a dose of antibiotic, Tylenol, and Motrin and sent on home for her to rest. She ended up having between 2-3 mini-seizures because her temperature was so high.

...Maggie at Hendersonville Hospital...

We are at home today just resting. Her temperature has been up and down but up again as high as 104.1. We are returning to Dr. Keith this afternoon at 3:00 to follow-up with him. Please pray for our sweet girl. She is just pitiful and it is such a terrible feeling that we can't take her pain and hurt away.

We will be praying for your family and Maggie. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you to watch and not be able to help! I'm sure she will pull out just fine. God will take care of everything!

God love her, in a hospital bed looking precious with that big flower in her hair! You did a great job, mom and dad, last night. Really proud of you. God definitely has our family in his hands!

Sweet little Maggie. Praying that she is better today. Tracy did almost the same thing when she was almost two. We were at Gerry's and her temp spiked while we were there and then she had a seizure. She was in the hospital for three days-they actually let you stay when you were sick way back then- and it turned out she had roseola. You are resting safely in the arms of God. LU Crazy Aunt Jane

Praying for sweet Maggie! Crazy thing, Greyson did the same thing in the middle of the night Saturday night. He had the minor seizures but not the BIG seizure like Maggie.
